Game providers compared across four categories

A live-dealer roulette table and a crash game with a plane have only one thing in common: they sit in the same lobby. That is why we always compare studios within a single category, two at a time, and only with data the manufacturers publish themselves.

  • Dukat.bet Slots Bonus: 500% up to 3,000 EUR + 15% Cashback, check the terms in the official bonus conditions
  • 8 studios, 4 head-to-heads, manufacturer figures checked on 8 October 2026
  • Where a manufacturer gives no figure, we say so plainly

Why we don’t compare roulette with slots

Rankings of the ‘best game provider’ kind usually lump live casino, slots and instant games into one bucket. It looks tidy but measures mismatched things. Paylines are irrelevant at a live roulette table, and nobody judges a crash game by its camera quality.

Each category has its own vocabulary. With modern slots you ask about the RTP version, the volatility level and the max win cap. At live tables the format matters more (classic roulette or game show), as do the stream language and where the return figure can be found at all. Crash games are measured by round speed, the auto cash-out option and the width of the RTP range the operator sets.

So the portal rests on a simple rule: the category decides what can be compared. In each of the four categories two studios face off, and we judge them only by criteria that make sense for that genre.

Everything else stays out.

If a number is missing, we don’t fill it in with an estimate or a forum average. An empty cell is information in itself, because it shows how openly a studio talks to its players.

Four categories, eight studios: what can stand side by side

The table below is the backbone of the whole portal. For each category it shows the studio pairing, the criteria worth comparing and the data the studios actually publish (source: official manufacturer websites, checked on 8 October 2026).

Category Head-to-head What can be compared What the studios publish
Live casino Evolution vs Ezugi table format, game-show elements, localisation, multipliers RTP not on the studio site but in the game rules; volatility not given
Modern video slots Hacksaw Gaming vs PG Soft RTP versions, volatility, max win, mechanics, Bonus Buy Hacksaw: RTP version ladder and 1–5 scale; PG Soft: RTP, volatility in words, max win
Classic / land-based slots Novomatic vs BetSoft reels and lines, free games, data openness Novomatic (Greentube): RTP for B2B clients only, volatility 1–5; BetSoft: RTP, volatility and Hit Rate
Crash / instant SmartSoft Gaming vs Galaxsys round speed, auto cash-out, RTP range, simultaneous bets RTP as a configuration-based range; max win either not stated or set by the operator

The table reveals something ordinary rankings miss. Openness doesn’t only vary between studios, it varies mainly between categories. Live and crash studios follow a completely different disclosure logic from slot makers.

Head-to-head by head-to-head: what each one is about

Live: Evolution and Ezugi

Evolution (founded 2006, Stockholm, listed on Nasdaq Stockholm) is also the group that has owned Ezugi since 2018. Two styles, one roof. Evolution bet on game shows (Dream Catcher) and the Lightning series, Ezugi on the Ultimate series, streams from land-based casinos and local games such as Andar Bahar.

When we checked the Dukat.bet provider list on 8 October 2026, Ezugi was on it and Evolution was not. Check the current state directly in the lobby. Both are covered in detail in the live studio head-to-head.

Modern slots: Hacksaw Gaming and PG Soft

Hacksaw Gaming (2018, Stockholm and Malta) is an example of a studio that publishes a lot. R.I.P. City has a base RTP of 96.22% with further versions down to 88.02%, volatility 3 out of 5 and a 12,500× cap. PG Soft (2015, Valletta) took a mobile-first approach, so its slots can be played in portrait mode.

PG Soft lists Mahjong Ways 2 with an RTP of 96.95%, medium volatility and a max win of 100,000×. Two different worlds, with comparable numbers.

Classics: Novomatic and BetSoft

Here the contrast is sharpest. Novomatic (1980, Gumpoldskirchen) operates online through Greentube and does not publish the RTP of its games; only B2B clients get it. So Ultra Hot deluxe shows volatility 4 on a 1–5 scale on its public page, but no return figure.

BetSoft (2006, Valletta) goes the other way. For Hot Lucky 7's it lists an RTP of 95.84%, medium-high volatility and a Hit Rate of 16.80%. How to deal with a missing number is discussed on the Novomatic page.

Crash: SmartSoft Gaming and Galaxsys

SmartSoft Gaming (founded 2015 in Georgia, with Smartsoft Limited based in Malta) is behind JetX, which the studio calls the first flying crash game (2018). Its RTP is a range of 96.2–98.9% depending on configuration, highest at the lowest cash-out.

Galaxsys from Yerevan, operating through the licensee Digitain (MT) Ltd, offers Ninja Crash with a range of 97.17–98%. The pace and controls of both games are compared in the crash studio head-to-head.

Manufacturer openness as a criterion of its own

While comparing, we kept running into a pattern that repeats in all four categories. The closer a studio is to the land-based world (gaming halls, live tables), the fewer numbers it shows publicly. That isn’t automatically bad; it is a different business tradition.

Live studios describe mechanics, multipliers and release dates on their websites. The return figure, though, only appears in the game window, in the table rules section. For Ezugi’s Ultimate Roulette the official cap is 2,000×, while the 97.30% RTP on base bets was confirmed by two independent overviews agreeing.

Novomatic has its reasons for staying quiet. Land-based machines are sold to operators with different settings, and that logic carried over online. The player sees a volatility scale but has to read the RTP in the game’s info panel at the specific casino.

At the other end stands Hacksaw with its ladder. Densho has four RTP versions (96.40, 94.38, 92.33 and 88.34%) and the manufacturer lists them all. The takeaway for players is simple: the same title can return differently at two casinos.

Crash games are a special case. An RTP range here is not dodging the question but a direct result of how the game works and what the operator configures.

The conclusion is the same for every category. The manufacturer’s figure is the starting point, but the operator may deploy a different version, so the game’s info panel at the casino where you are playing has the final word.

What eight percentage points mean in practice

Illustrative example (not Dukat.bet parameters): imagine you put 1,000 EUR in total stakes through R.I.P. City in an evening. With the 96.22% RTP version the theoretical long-run return is 962.20 EUR; with the 88.02% version it is only 880.20 EUR. The 82 EUR gap is not down to luck, good or bad, but to the game’s settings.

Over one evening you may never notice it. Volatility 3 out of 5 means individual evenings deviate noticeably from the average, sometimes up, sometimes down. The theoretical value only starts to assert itself over a large number of spins.

So why bother? The RTP version is a parameter you can’t see at first glance, yet it works on every single bet. The game’s info panel reveals it in a few seconds.

With Novomatic we can’t run this calculation, as there is no public RTP. With BetSoft we can, and with crash games only within the stated range.

Where our numbers come from and what we don’t do with them

Every game figure comes from the manufacturer’s website or the in-game rules. We give the source and check date for each number; for the current set that is 8 October 2026. When two sources disagree (for example on the max win of Red Door Roulette), we leave the number out.

What we won’t do:

  • work out an RTP the manufacturer hasn’t published,
  • turn verbal volatility into numbers or vice versa,
  • claim a particular game is in the Dukat.bet lobby until we see it in the provider list,
  • write about the operator’s licences, limits or payouts.

We take that last point seriously. The portal describes studios and their games, not the terms of a specific casino. Those change, and the only reliable source is the operator itself.

A quick word on the bonus. For the slot categories Dukat.bet offers the Slots Bonus — 500% up to 3,000 EUR + 15% Cashback; the official bonus rules set out how it works. A bonus means more playing time, not assured profit.

Signpost: from your question to the right page

If you don’t yet know which category suits you, start with the category decision table. If you already know the studios themselves interest you, the catalogue of eight providers shows them in one table with ten criteria.

If you’re interested in… Go to the head-to-head
live dealers, game shows Evolution vs Ezugi
bonus rounds, Bonus Buy, higher variance Hacksaw Gaming vs PG Soft

Every studio page has a games table with the same columns, so numbers compare directly, and an empty column always comes with the reason why.

Frequently asked questions

Why do you compare studios only within one category?
Because each category is measured by different criteria. For slots, RTP version and volatility make sense; for live tables, format and localisation; for crash games, round speed and auto cash-out. A cross-category comparison would mix things that can’t be compared.
Why is RTP missing for some games?
Not every manufacturer publishes it. Novomatic, through Greentube, provides it to B2B clients only, and live studios state it in the game rules rather than on their websites. In such cases we write ‘not stated’ and recommend checking the game’s info panel.
Is Evolution in the Dukat.bet lobby?
On 8 October 2026 it was missing from Dukat.bet’s studio list. Ezugi, from the same group, was. Check the current state directly in the lobby, as the list can change.
What does volatility on a 1–5 scale mean?
Both Hacksaw Gaming and Novomatic (Greentube) use this kind of scale. A higher number means bigger swings, i.e. rarer but larger wins. Values can only be compared within one manufacturer, not across different scales.
Why does a crash game have an RTP range instead of a single number?
With JetX the return depends on the configuration and on when you cash out; according to the studio it is highest at the lowest cash-out. Galaxsys lists a range of 97.17–98% for Ninja Crash. The game’s info panel shows the specific value.
Where can I find the Slots Bonus terms?
The Dukat.bet Slots Bonus is 500% up to 3,000 EUR + 15% Cashback. Check the wagering requirements and other conditions in the official Dukat.bet bonus terms; we don’t reproduce or interpret them.
