One round, from stake to result
Before spinning you choose your stake; the game has ten lines on five reels, and some versions also let you set the number of active lines. The reels then stop and winning combinations are paid according to the paytable.
In the base game, players mainly watch two symbols. The dolphin completes combinations, the pearl opens the way to free games. Everything else is a classic payout for matching symbols on a line.

The dolphin: substitute and doubler in one
The dolphin wild stands in for any symbol except the pearl. When it is part of a winning combination, it also doubles the win – so it is not just ‘glue’ that fills a missing piece, it is a multiplier too.
That is the main difference from its sister game Ultra Hot deluxe. There, a win is doubled only when one symbol covers the whole screen; here a single dolphin in the right spot is enough.
The pearl as a ticket to 15 free games
The pearl is a scatter, so it needs no line. Enough pearls trigger 15 free games in which every win is multiplied by three. How many pearls are required we could not find in the studio's materials in a form we could verify – the exact rule is in the in-game paytable.
Illustrative example (not Dukat.bet parameters): a combination that would pay 2 EUR in the base game brings 6 EUR during free games.
This is where most of the game's potential sits. The base game mainly serves to get you into the bonus – and that can take a long time.

A five on the studio's scale: what it means
Level 5 is the top of the scale Novomatic uses, so by the studio's own account this is one of its most volatile titles. The mechanics explain why: much of the value is concentrated in the free games with their triple multiplier, and those do not come often.
What does it mean for the player? Long runs of small wins or none at all are normal here, not a fault. Set your budget and stake so they can last through a stretch without a single pearl.
