Under the Evolution roof since 2018
Ezugi was founded in 2012. Its official website does not state a headquarters, which is slightly unusual for a live studio – most rivals are happy to show off their address. In 2018 the studio became part of the Evolution group.
The acquisition did not turn Ezugi into a copy of its parent, though. The studio kept its own series and its own priorities. While Evolution builds on game shows and big productions, Ezugi stays closer to the table and to local habits.
For our comparison this is a handy situation. Two studios from one group, yet with different profiles – so the differences we find stem not from ownership but from how each approaches the game.

A camera in a real gaming hall
One of Ezugi’s hallmarks is streaming from land-based casinos. Instead of a table built in a TV studio, you watch a real gaming floor – with its lighting, its buzz and players physically sitting at the table.
That has its charm and its limits. The atmosphere is more authentic, but the picture tends to be less ‘polished’ than a studio production, and the pace is set by the venue. The online player adapts to the rhythm of the place, not the other way round.
If waiting bothers you, you will notice it straight away.
Compared with a studio table, a stream from a gaming hall also changes the sound and camera work. You hear the real surroundings, the shot is not cut like television, and the dealer is not focused solely on the online audience.
For some, however, that is precisely why they play live at all: they want to see a real table, not a set.
Andar Bahar, Teen Patti and games for specific markets
The second pillar is localisation. Ezugi also offers games that are at home mainly in India – such as Andar Bahar or Teen Patti. A European player is more likely to stumble on them by chance, but they say a lot about the studio’s profile.
They show that Ezugi does not build its portfolio solely around roulette, blackjack and baccarat. It looks for markets where people have their own card traditions and brings them to the live table.
If you are trying one of these games for the first time, start with the rules. They are simple but different from what we know from European casinos – and without them it is easy to end up betting on something other than you think.
The Ultimate series in numbers: Ultimate Roulette
The best-documented title for our comparison is Ultimate Roulette, released on 30 March 2023. Ezugi describes it as live roulette in a game show format – a similar direction to the one Evolution takes with its own roulette shows.
| Parameter | Ultimate Roulette |
|---|---|
| Studio | Ezugi |
| Format | live roulette, game show |
| RTP | 97.30% (base bets) |
| Volatility | not stated |
| Max win | 2,000× (official) |
| Lucky numbers | 5 numbers with multipliers 50x–1,000x |
| Extra | buy up to 3 additional Lucky numbers |
| Spread | multipliers also carry over to neighbouring numbers |
| Release | 30 March 2023 |
| Source | ezugi.com (mechanics, date); RTP where two reviews agree, verified 8 Oct 2026 |
The last mechanics row is the most interesting. A multiplier is not tied to a single number but ‘seeps’ onto its neighbours on the wheel. Together with the option to buy extra Lucky numbers, this gives the player more control over how much risk they add to a round.
The RTP shown applies to base bets and comes from the maker or from reviews. An operator may have a different version configured; what is binding is what you see in the rules at the table.
EZ Dealer Roulette and other variants
Besides the Ultimate series, Ezugi also lists EZ Dealer Roulette. It is a separate roulette branch that differs from the classic table in how it is presented. The specific rules and payout breakdown are in its info panel – the studio website does not go into detail.
To find your way around the lobby you only need to know one thing. With Ezugi, the word ‘roulette’ can hide a classic live table, a land-based casino stream, a game show with multipliers or a simplified version. The maths differs between them, so the RTP of one table does not automatically apply to another.
Where Ezugi is more open than its parent
At first glance Ezugi and Evolution publish similarly little: no RTP on the game page, no volatility scale. The difference only shows in the details.
For Ultimate Roulette, Ezugi officially states a max win of 2,000×. For Evolution’s Red Door Roulette, by contrast, we gave no max win because the available sources disagree. One extra data point – and for a comparison that means a lot.
On the other hand, Ezugi does not state a headquarters, whereas Evolution is a publicly traded company with a transparent corporate structure. So openness is not a single scale: one reveals more about the company, the other more about the game.
This is how the whole live category looks in practice. A detailed comparison of both studios is in the Evolution vs Ezugi match-up.
A gaming-hall stream on a small screen
Ezugi live games run in the browser as a video stream, so on a phone the same rules apply as at any live table. The biggest difference is made not by the studio but by the connection.
On mobile data, expect an hour of streaming to eat a noticeable part of your allowance. Wi-Fi is more comfortable, but with a weak signal the picture drops to a lower quality or freezes for a moment. With a land-based casino stream this tends to be more pronounced, because the scene is more complex than a clean studio backdrop.
Another thing is the betting time limit. The window for placing a bet does not pause just because your phone is loading – miss it and the round goes ahead without you. In games like Ultimate Roulette, where you also pick additional Lucky numbers, keep the controls close at hand.
We cover what each category can handle on a small screen in the section on mobile play.
Ezugi in the Dukat.bet provider list
At our check on 8 Oct 2026, Ezugi was in the Dukat.bet provider list. That still does not tell you which specific tables are open right now – the offer changes and some tables have their own operating hours.
Before playing, check in the lobby whether a given table is available, what its limits are and what RTP its rules state. Bet limits are set by the operator, not the studio.
One more thing: live games can draw you in for longer than planned. Practical tips on keeping track of time are in the section on responsible gaming.
